The Casa Hogar Impact Ministry was allocated $4,300 in early December of 2020 to address the critical need for food for those in great need in the City of Chihuahua. Our goal was to provide the food prior to Christmas if possible. Pastor Gardea and his staff prepared and implemented a distribution plan and were able to provide the food in 3 communities within Chihuahua prior to Christmas, in most cases.
Ultimately, they provided food packages to 200 families representing 813 individuals. The distribution was documented as requested and appears to have been very well implemented. Children from Casa Hogar Palabra de Vida, El Porvenir, and Cuidar Corazon were able to participate in this service to their community. We are pleased that they had the opportunity to experience being on the giving side of a charitable cause, taking part in being the hands and feet of God!
Thank you for providing this wonderful and impactful ministry opportunity that was a positive impact on Casa Hogar and it’s surrounding communities! Below are a few interviews with the Casa Hogar youth that helped in the distribution as well as a few recipients of the food.
